The first export train from Turkey to China will depart tomorrow

The train, which will be send off by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoglu from Istanbul, will travel 8 thousand 693 kilometres in total, and will travel on the Marmaray, BTK Railway Line.

According to the statement made by TCDD Transportation Inc., apart from the first transit train arriving from China to Europe in November 2019, 10 blocks of trains were successfully operated on China, Turkey and the European line.

The first train carrying the load exported to China from Turkey will depart from Istanbul tomorrow. Adil Karaismailoglu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, will send off the train planned to pass through Marmaray tomorrow at Kazlicesme Station at 14:00.

Export train will take a long route on Turkey-China trails. The train will follow the Istanbul (Marmaray) -Kosekoy-Ankara-Sivas-Kars line, and will depart from Ahilkelek Station.

On the international track, the train will end its journey in Georgia-Azerbaijan-Caspian Sea Crossing-Kazakhstan and Xi’an, China, respectively, and will carry white goods (refrigerators) in a total of 42 containers.

The train, which will be advanced in cooperation with TCDD Transportation Inc. and Pacific Eurasia, the official “forwarder company”, will travel 8 thousand 693 kilometres in total, pass 2 continents, 2 seas and 5 countries, and deliver its cargo to China in 12 days.
