The construction cost index increased by 3.47% on a monthly basis and by 106.87% on an annual basis in June.
Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data for June.
Accordingly, the index increased by 3.47% in June compared to the previous month and by 106.87% compared to the same month of the previous year.
On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 4.16% and the labor index increased by 0.72%. On an annual basis, the material index increased by 130.59% and the labor index increased by 45.67%.
The building construction cost index increased by 2.58% in June compared to the previous month and by 101.79% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 3.08% and the labor index increased by 0.68%.
Index rises for non-building structures
The material index increased by 124.22% compared to the same month of the previous year, and the labor index increased by 45.38%.
The construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 6.31% in June compared to the previous month and by 124.27% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to May, the material index increased by 7.51% and the labor index increased by 0.86%. In June, compared to the same month of the previous year, there was an increase of 151.73% in the material index and 46.77% in the labor index.
