Textile investment from Izmir to Van

Textile manufacturers from Izmir who will invest in Van met with Governor Bilmez. Investments to be made in Van, which stands out in textiles, were discussed.

The textile manufacturers, who made the investment decision in the Van Textile and Ready-to-Wear OIZ, which was implemented by the Van Governorship YIKOB with the support of the Eastern Anatolia Development Agency within the scope of the Support Program for the Attraction Centers implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, came together at the meeting chaired by the Governor Mehmet Emin Bilmez. At the meeting, Governor Mehmet Emin Bilmez expressed his satisfaction with the visit of business people from Izmir and their investment decision, and said that Van is a city open to change and development.

EMPHASIS ON SOCIALIZATION

Emphasizing that the investment to be made in Van is important in every sense, Governor Bilmez said, “These investments will contribute not only to economic development but also to the socialization of our province. They will be instrumental in our integration. Hopefully, these investments will further develop our vision. We will support our companies in every sense at the point of realizing the investments made in our province.”

At the meeting, Aegean Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters’ Association Chairman of the Board Burak Sertbas, Buca Aegean Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Toygar Narbay and textile manufacturers who decided to invest in Van, gave information by explaining in detail the latest situation in their investments and the number of employment, accompanied by a slide. Halil Ibrahim Guray, Secretary General of the Eastern Anatolia Development Agency, gave detailed information about the investment potential of the region to the company officials who are planning to make new investments.
