Minister of Commerce Bolat will attend the Global Investors Conference in the USA

Minister of Commerce Omer Bolat will meet with representatives of the business world at the Global Investors Conference hosted by Goldman Sachs in the USA.

In his statement on his social media account, Minister Bolat stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was in the USA to participate in the discussions of the 78th United Nations (UN) General Assembly.

Stating that they will take part in President Erdogan’s high-level official meetings in New York and will have a busy program where they will meet with business people, Bolat said:

“In order to further strengthen our economic and commercial ties, we will attend the Global Investors Conference, hosted by Goldman Sachs, on Tuesday, September 19, and meet with members of the American business community. On Wednesday evening, September 20, we will attend the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) – Turkiye-US Business Council (TAIK) meeting and hold intensive discussions on mutual steps to be taken towards the goal of increasing commercial and investment cooperation between Turkiye and the USA. We will continue our intensive work to achieve our previously determined target of $100 billion of mutual trade volume with the USA, with which we have reached $38 billion of bilateral trade by 2022, to increase the investments of American companies in Turkiye and to take a stronger place in the global supply chain for our country.”
