$33.6 billion support from Eximbank to exporters

As of the end of October 2023, Turk Eximbank provided a total of $33.6 billion of support to exporters, including $15.1 billion in loans and $18.5 billion in insurance and guarantees.

Minister of Commerce Omer Bolat stated that Turk Eximbank provided a total of $33.6 billion of support to exporters as of the end of October, and that they held consultations to increase and continue this support during his visit to the institution.

Bolat, in his statement on the X social media platform, said that they visited Turk Eximbank, which has various objectives such as developing exports in Turkiye, diversifying exported goods and services, increasing the shares of exporters in international trade and providing the necessary support in the initiatives of exporters, and received a briefing.

Emphasizing that they consulted the supports provided by the institution during his visit, Bolat said:

“Turk Eximbank, Turkiye’s largest export credit and credit insurance institution, provided a total of $33.6 billion of support to our exporters as of the end of October 2023, including $15.1 billion of credit and $18.5 billion of insurance and guarantees. We held consultations on the projects implemented to ensure that these supports continue to increase. We wish success to Turk Eximbank General Manager Ali Guney and his team in the coming period.”
