Turkiye’s Central Bank Reserves Decline to $124.1 Billion as of April 26

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $2 billion 204 million in the week of April 26 compared to the previous week, falling to $124 billion 80 million.

CBRT announced weekly money and bank statistics.

Accordingly, as of April 26, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by $2 billion 44 million to $64 billion 967 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $67 billion 11 million on April 19.

During this period, gold reserves decreased by $160 million, from $59 billion 273 million to $59 billion 113 million.

Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $2 billion 204 million in the week of April 26 compared to the previous week, falling from $126 billion 284 million to $124 billion 80 million.
