The National Assembly of Azerbaijan approved the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkiye and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Preventing Double Taxation in Taxes on Income and Preventing Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance”.
At the General Assembly Meeting of the National Assembly, the “Agreement on Preventing Double Taxation in Taxes on Income and Preventing Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance” signed between Turkiye and Azerbaijan was discussed. The agreement put to vote was accepted.
The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkiye and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Preventing Double Taxation in Taxes on Income and Preventing Tax Evasion and Tax Avoidance” was signed in Ankara on February 19 by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek and Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov, in the presence of Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev.
