The downward trend continues. An ounce of gold reached the lowest level of 2 and a half years with $1,627. Gold prices are expected to close September with a loss against the stronger dollar in global markets.

With the tightening steps of the FED, the historical peak of the dollar index in the global markets deepened the losses in gold.

The ounce of gold, which has been falling for 5 months, is expected to close September with a loss.

Ounce gold, which lost value by 1.9% last week, fell to the lowest level since April 2020 with $1,627 today.

Ounce gold, which partially recovered afterward, was stabilized at the level of $1,646.

The global loss of gold also caused the price of gram gold to fall in the domestic market. Gram gold saw the lowest level of ₺964 during the day, then traded at ₺976.
