Dream Games, which collected $255 million in its THIRD investment round, reached a valuation of $2.75 billion and became one of the most valuable mobile game companies in the world. With this round, the total investment of Dream Games increased to $468 million.
The first game of the company, ‘Royal Match’, became one of the highest-grossing mobile games in the world in 2021; It was among the top 10 mobile games in the US, UK and other key markets. Dream Games, which became the owner of the title of Turkey’s third ‘unicorn’ by reaching a valuation of $1 billion with the investment it received in June last year, received a new investment of $255 million and reached a valuation of $2.75 billion. Thus, Dream Games managed to triple its value in a short period of six months. Index Ventures led the Series C round, the third investment round of the company in the last year. Major funds such as Makers Fund, BlackRock, IVP, Kora and Balderton Capital also participated in the investment round. Stating that their approach to game development is very similar to the animation giant Pixar’s approach to filmmaking, Dream Games CEO Soner Aydemir said, “By bringing engineering and art together, we ensure that thousands of details in our game are in harmony. Thus, we offer a quality gaming experience enjoyed by millions of users around the world. We aim to achieve many permanent works in the gaming industry together with our teammates, each of whom puts forward world-class works in their field.”

Stephane Kurgan, partner of Index Ventures, leading the third investment round of the company, stated that Dream Games’ first game, Royal Match, exceeded all expectations with the success it achieved. Kurgan said, “Royal Match has become one of the most played mobile games of 2021 in eight months. Dream Games has become one of the best companies in the industry with its creative talents, engineering expertise it has developed, and exemplary work ethic. They have already changed the norms of what is seen as excellence in mobile gaming. We can’t wait to see where they go next.”
