The construction cost index increased by 4.43% in June

The construction cost index increased by 4.43% on a monthly basis and by 49.32% on an annual basis in June.

Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data for June.

Accordingly, the index increased by 4.43% in June compared to the previous month and by 49.32% annually.

On a monthly basis, the material index increased by 5.81% and the labor index increased by 0.86%. On an annual basis, the material index increased by 35.67% and the labor index increased by 105.11%.

The building construction cost index increased by 3.83% in June compared to the previous month and by 51.80% compared to the same month of the previous year. In June, compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 5.04% and the labor index increased by 0.80%. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 37.95% and the workmanship index increased by 105.53% in buildings.

The construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 6.45% in June compared to the previous month and by 41.69% compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 8.33% and the labor index increased by 1.05% in these structures. Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 28.91% and the labor index increased by 103.57%.
