AK Party Deputy Chairman for Foreign Relations Zafer Sirakaya announced that the period for using mobile devices brought from abroad without being registered in Turkiye will be increased from 120 to 180 days.
Zafer Sirakaya, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party Responsible for Foreign Relations, said in his statement on his social media account: “With the new regulation, if an application is made for ‘Temporary communication’ for mobile phones abroad via e-Devlet, the usage period of mobile devices can be extended twice for 30 days.”
According to the infographic shared by Sirakaya, the usage period of mobile devices brought from abroad without being registered in Turkiye will be increased to 180 days. Those who request an extension from e-Devlet before the 120-day period expires will be able to use the phones they brought from abroad for up to 180 days.
