The top South Korean automaker on Monday unveiled the “Mobile Living Space” concept, its vision for a future mobility space.

In a four-minute video, Hyundai showed a scenario in which a futuristic vehicle and a building are connected, allowing passengers to move freely between the two spaces.

Back in 2020, the company already unveiled the “Active House” concept, a similar idea of combining a vehicle with a building.

The latest vision, Hyundai said, is significant in that it contains specific technologies and patents that can be applied in practice.

According to the animation video, Hyundai has designed a gate structure that connects a vehicle to a building. The vehicle’s height is also adjustable to allow passengers to get in and out without bending down.
