Turkiye: The budget gave a surplus of ₺48.6 billion in July

Budget revenues were calculated as ₺504.4 billion and expenditures as ₺455.8 billion in July. The budget had a surplus of ₺48.6 billion in July, and a deficit of ₺434.7 billion in the January-July period.

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the results of the budget implementation for the month of July.

Accordingly, in July, budget revenues increased by 156.1% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached ₺504 billion 413 million, while budget expenditures increased by 74.7% to ₺455 billion 840 million.

In the January-July period, budget revenues increased by 63.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached ₺2 trillion 384 billion 763 million. Budget expenditures increased by 96.8% in the same period and reached ₺2 trillion 819 billion 416 million.

Thus, the central government budget posted a surplus of ₺48 billion 574 million in July, and a deficit of ₺434 billion 654 million in the January-July period.
