Saudi Arabia and Turkiye e-visa centers have been opened

Electronic visa centers that will facilitate transactions between Saudi Arabia and Turkiye were opened in Ankara and Istanbul.

Ambassador Fahad bin Assaad Abu Al-Nasr, Consul General in Istanbul Abdulmecid Aldosari and General Manager of Hajj and Umrah Services Remzi Bircan attended the opening of the electronic visa centers organized simultaneously in Ankara and Istanbul by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Ankara.

In his speech here, Ambassador Nasr thanked those who attended the opening ceremony of the Saudi Arabia visa center and said, “This center is a gateway that opens new horizons regarding Saudi Arabia for the brotherly people of Turkiye.”

Nasr emphasized that this center, which brought them together today, is the concrete translation of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision, and said that one of the cornerstones of this vision is to build a dynamic society and prosperous economy where everyone benefits from many success opportunities through various methods.

Pointing out that the most important of these methods is to provide a supportive working environment for companies, Nasr stated that Saudi Arabia strives to prepare programs and take initiatives in order to leave a positive impact on the world and realize the visions of its people.

Nasr explained that facilitating the application process to obtain an entry visa to Saudi Arabia through visa request centers has increased the level of services offered to Turkish citizens.

Emphasizing that the Embassy is ready to provide support to the visa center and facilitate the tasks assigned to it, Nasr thanked everyone who contributed to this work, supporting the efforts to strengthen the ties between his country and Turkiye’s brotherly peoples.

Nasr expressed his hope that the center will be an additional connecting link that strengthens the bilateral and historical relations between Saudi Arabia and Turkiye. “Based on these privileged relations, we have added Saudi Arabia and Turkiye to the category of countries eligible for the electronic visit visa system and you can obtain this visa via the website or by visiting the visa center. I would like to remind you here that it can be obtained within a few minutes by reaching one of the border gates, and that it provides those who receive this visa with the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia for both tourist purposes and for Umrah and visiting the Masjid al-Nabawi.”

Saudi Arabia’s Consul General in Istanbul, Aldosari, said that the opening of the centers is a continuation of the communication between the two countries and also reflects their strong relations.

Following the speeches, the centers were opened by cutting ribbons in Ankara and in Istanbul, where a live connection was established.
