475 passengers came to Bodrum district of Mugla with the first cruise ship of the season, “Silver Spirit”.
The 212-meter-long ship belonging to Silversea Cruises was docked at Bodrum Cruise Port pier.
The Bahamas-flagged cruise ship arriving from Istanbul Port has 475 passengers and 410 personnel, mainly of US and British nationality.
The ship will depart for Rhodes at night.
Global Ports Holding Eastern Mediterranean Ports Director Aziz Gungor stated in his written statement that they foresee 97 ships coming to Bodrum Cruise Port this year.
Gungor said in his statement: “We look forward to another successful cruise season in Bodrum this year with our impressive range of ships and our continued commitment to providing exceptional service to our passengers.”
It was stated that the port aims to host more than 100 thousand cruise passengers in 2024.
