After the share transfer was completed, Temsa Construction Equipment changed its trade name to “Marubeni Distribution and Service Inc.”.
Headquartered in Japan, Marubeni Corporation increased its 90% stake in Temsa Construction Equipment to 100%, while Temsa Construction Equipment’s trade name was changed to ‘Marubeni Distribution and Service Inc.’ after the share transfer.
According to the statement made by Marubeni Distribution and Service, the share transfer in Temsa Construction Equipment has been completed.
Marubeni Corporation, which acquired 49% of Temsa Construction Equipment in 2014 and increased it to 90% in 2019, completed the share transfer process as of February 2023 and increased its share in the company to 100%.
After the share transfer was completed, Temsa Construction Equipment changed its trade name to ‘Marubeni Distribution and Service Inc.’.
The company, which is the distributor of Komatsu, Volvo Trucks, Dieci, Crown, Komatsu Joy and Montabert brands, each of which is the world’s leading brand in its field, also provides rental and second-hand purchase and sale services of construction equipment and forklifts with the Platinum Used brand.
The company, which first started its activities in 1983 with the distributorship of Komatsu, expanded its field of activity by undertaking the distributorship of the Italian telescopic loader manufacturer Dieci in 2010, the world’s leading heavy commercial vehicle brand Volvo Trucks in 2017, Crown, a US-based forklift and warehouse equipment brand and finally surface mining machines with Komatsu Joy, and the Montabert crushers in 2022.
The company, which provides service with 240 employees at 5 points in total, with its general directorate in Istanbul, technical centers in Gebze and Ankara, the Volvo Trucks Center in Hadimkoy and the bucket and attachment production centers in Adana, also has more than 50 authorized dealers and service points in Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
