Over 1M passenger cars, light commercial vehicles sold across Türkiye in first 11 months of this year, says industry group
Automotive sales in Türkiye surged 60.8% year-on-year to hit a record high of 1 million in January-November, according to data from an industry group on Monday.
A total of 1.07 million passenger cars and light commercial vehicles were sold across the country in the first 11 months of this year, the Automotive Distributors’ and Mobility Association figures showed.
As many as 840,925 passenger cars were also sold,a spike of 66.2% from a year earlier.
In November, Türkiye’s automotive market grew 39.8% on an annual basis to 115,040 vehicles.
Passenger car sales in November climbed 54.4% from a year ago to 91,424.
