Uzbekistan airline company Qanot Sharq started flights to Istanbul Airport

Uzbekistan-based airline company Qanot Sharq organized its first flight to Istanbul Airport.

Airbus 321 type aircraft with flight number HH-573, which took off from Samarkand city of Uzbekistan and had 202 passengers, landed at Istanbul Airport in the morning.

Qanot Sharq Airlines General Manager Nosir Abdugafaruv, Corporate Relations Director of the airport’s operator IGA, Turgay Yaman, and Istanbul Airport route development department manager Maria Yikilmaz attended the welcoming ceremony held at Istanbul Airport due to the start of flights.

Passengers and flight crew were greeted with flowers by IGA personnel at the C1 gate of the international arrivals floor.

With the participation of the Uzbek airline company, the number of companies flying at Istanbul Airport increased to 90.

It has been learned that Qanot Sharq will organize 3 reciprocal flights between Istanbul Airport and Samarkand Airport.
