Ali Taha Koc, Head of the Presidency’s Digital Transformation Office, stated that the registration applications required to go to Umrah or Jerusalem with the organization of the Presidency of Religious Affairs have started to be made through e-Devlet Gateway.
President of the Presidency’s Digital Transformation Office Ali Taha Koc said that the e-Devlet Gateway was opened with 22 services in 2008, and today 6,551 services of 870 institutions can be accessed from here.
Stating that their goal is to move all services to the digital environment and expand their scope, Koc noted that new applications are being offered through the e-Devlet Gateway every day.
Pointing out that one of them is about Umrah and Jerusalem tours, Koc said:
“After depositing the requested fee of the tour to the contracted banks to go to Umrah or Jerusalem with the organization of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, registration applications started to be made through the e-Devlet Gateway. Within the scope of this service, it is possible to create registration for ‘Umrah and Jerusalem Tours Registration Application’, create a group with people to go with, update registration, delete registration, update tour and room type.”
“FAST, EASY AND RELIABLE”
Pointing out that the entire process with the service is carried out through the e-Devlet Gateway, Koc informed that every year approximately 100 thousand citizens go to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah with the organization of the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
Noting that 5 thousand citizens also participated in Jerusalem and Jerusalem-related Umrah tours, Koc said, “Our citizens who want to participate in these tours can register quickly, easily and reliably by using the e-Devlet Gateway.”
