Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with 1283 daily flights

Istanbul Airport became the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 1283 flights per day between 30 October and 5 November.

The European Aviation Report of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) for the dates 30 October – 5 November has been published.

According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe with an average of 1283 flights per day during this period.

Istanbul Airport was followed by London Heathrow with an average of 1255 flights per day, Paris Charles de Gaulle with 1240 flights, Frankfurt with 1210 flights and Amsterdam Schiphol with 1179 flights.
