QNB Finansbank: Step-by-step tracking feature of foreign currency transfers

As part of the SWIFT GPI (Global Payments Innovations) system, QNB Finansbank offers transparently instant monitoring services from its branches, mobile branch, or internet branch to all its individual and corporate customers who make international money transfers.

According to the statement made by QNB Finansbank, QNB Finansbank allows end-to-end monitoring of incoming and outgoing international money transfers with its SWIFT GPI application.

Thanks to the application, the customers of the Bank can easily follow the foreign currency transfers from or to their accounts step by step. With the SWIFT GPI system, money transfers from anywhere in the world to any person or institution can be carried out quickly and easily with full transparency. Thus, QNB Finansbank offers a significant speed and smooth payment experience in cross-border payments in the correspondent banking network.

QNB Finansbank customers will be able to instantly and transparently monitor foreign currency transfer transactions, such as the status of the transaction, the correspondent bank information, the commission information received at each stage, the date and time of their movements in the correspondent bank through the mobile branch, internet branch or bank branch. The bank’s corporate customers will be able to instantly monitor the fees that will come to their bank accounts from their own systems if they are integrated with SWIFT’s g4C Service (SWIFT GPI for corporates).

“We are working to ensure that our customers take part in the international ecosystem with confidence”

QNB Finansbank Corporate and Commercial Banking Deputy General Manager Omur Tan, whose evaluations were included in the statement, said:

“As QNB Finansbank, it is our top priority to provide first-class services and innovative solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations. In this context, we have added the developments in the rapidly developing international payments ecosystem to our services. In 2019, we were showing the transaction traces of only outgoing foreign exchange transfers on all our channels with Swift GPI. We are one of the three banks in Turkey that follows the foreign currency transfers received today in this detail.

In addition, we offer our corporate customers with SWIFT g4C service the opportunity to instantly monitor the amounts that will come to their accounts. Our customers who are integrated into the SWIFT g4C system will be able to track their payments simultaneously during money transfers. It also eliminates the difficulty of determining why the transfer was declined or canceled or the source of a change in the status of a remittance. Thus, it also saves time and money to investigate a cross-border payment issue. As QNB Finansbank, we will continue our efforts to support our customers and ensure that they take a place in the international ecosystem with confidence.”
