Turkiye, in the 10-month period of the 2022-2023 hazelnut export season, generated $1.6 billion in revenue.
In the statement made by the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association, information was given about the period of 2022-2023 export season from September 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
In the statement, it was stated that 262 thousand 173 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad for $1 billion 579 million 600 thousand in the said period, and it was recorded that June exports amounted to $119 million 404 thousand in return for 19 thousand 328 tons of hazelnuts.
