Izmir-Based Gaming Startup Mage Games Receives $3.5 Million Investment Led by Actera

Izmir-based gaming startup Mage Games received an investment of $3.5 million under the leadership of Actera, with the aim of developing mobile games that will be successful on a global scale.

Izmir-based game startup Mage Games received an investment of $3.5 million under the leadership of Actera, the largest private equity company focused on Turkiye, and with the participation of Ludus Ventures, one of Turkiye’s leading game funds.

Mage Games was founded in 2022 by Murat Baysal and develops and publishes mobile games.

Mage Games founder Murat Baysal said about the investment tour;

“We set out with a very experienced team that has achieved significant success in global projects. At Mage Games, we will develop competitive PvP games. We are also working on a platform that aims to accelerate the development processes of PvP games. With this investment round, we plan to further strengthen our team and reach the first stage of our long-term goals faster.”

In the statement made by Actera regarding the investment;

“We believe that the success of Mage Games will benefit both our country’s exports and employment. We will continue to invest in our country’s successful game companies so that Turkiye can come to a much better place in the mobile game industry.”

In the statement made by Ludus regarding the investment;

“We are happy to invest in Mage Games with our new fund that we launched at the beginning of the year. We are excited to contribute to the adventure of this experienced team, which draws attention with its past successes and is specialized in its field.”

During the partnership process, Mage Games was advised by Caliskan Okkan Toker and Alfa Games & Partners, and Actera and Ludus were advised by BASEAK Law Firm.
