The highest exports were made in the Turkish automotive sector in February

The automotive industry was the sector with the highest exports last month, with $3.1 billion.

According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the automotive industry, which achieved exports of $3.1 billion in February, was followed by chemicals and products with $2.6 billion, and ready-made clothing and apparel with $1.5 billion.

THE MOST EXPORT INCREASE WAS IN SHIPS, YACHTS AND SERVICES

The highest export increase in January was in the ship, yacht and services sector with 188.4%.

Exports of the industrial group, which realizes 70.7% of Turkiye’s total exports, reached $14.9 billion with an increase of 10.8% last month.

In the said period, the agriculture group, which constitutes 14.8% of total exports, achieved an export of $3.1 billion with an increase of 22.8%, and the mining group, which had a 2.2% share of total exports, achieved an export of $453.4 million with an increase of 14.1%.

THE MOST EXPORT WAS TO GERMANY

The top 3 countries with the highest exports in January were Germany with $1.5 billion, the USA with $1.1 billion and Italy with $1 billion 80 million.

While the top 3 provinces with the most exports during this period were Istanbul with $7.7 billion, Kocaeli with $1.6 billion and Bursa with $1.4 billion, it was seen that the exports of 64 provinces increased.

Last month, 1388 of our companies made foreign sales for the first time. The positive effect of euro/dollar parity on exports continued in February. Last month, the parity difference contributed $63.5 million to exports. The unit export value was $1.43.
