Azerbaijan’s Agriculture Ministry has discussed cooperation with the Turkish THY Air Cargo Transport JSC regarding the transportation of agricultural products to external markets, Trend reports.
The ministry said it held a meeting with representatives of the company, which specializes in air transportation of agricultural products.
The meeting was attended by the ministry officials,leaders of associations specializing in the production and export of agricultural products, representatives of leading agricultural companies, and employees of the JSC for Eastern Europe, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
The meeting participants pointed out every-year growth in the manufacturing and export of Azerbaijan’s agricultural products to external markets.
Agricultural producers have already started exporting their goods to new markets in addition to traditional foreign markets. The expansion of this process requires the proper organization of logistics, especially in the transportation of perishable fresh fruits. From this perspective, producers are particularly interested in collaborating with foreign companies that specialize in the transportation of perishable fresh produce.
The THY Air Cargo Transport, as a company with extensive experience in this field, can provide assistance in the safe transportation of Azerbaijani agricultural products to external markets in a short period of time.
The meeting also discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the transportation of perishable agricultural products by air.
