Alok Sharma will visit the Karapinar district of Konya on Friday, March 4 to see the Kalyon Karapinar Solar Power Plant, the largest project financing provided by the British Government in the field of solar energy to date.

MINISTER KURUM AND CEMAL KALYONCU WILL ACCOMPANY

During the said visit, Alok Sharma will be accompanied by Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Cemal Kalyoncu, Chairman of Kalyon Holding.

Sharma, Minister Kurum and Cemal Kalyoncu will make statements, and the solar power plant will also be visited at the event to be held at the Kalyon Karapinar Solar Power Plant, which is one of the largest power plants in Turkey and Europe and one of the few in the world.
