TMO has determined the purchase price of corn as ₺6 thousand per ton.

In the statement, it was stated that corn production in 2023 is estimated to be 8,5 million tons.

“The purchase price of TMO corn has been determined as ₺6 thousand per ton. The entire production amount in their certificates will be purchased from the producers registered in the Farmer Registration System. TMO will carry out maize purchasing activities in workplaces throughout Turkiye and in licensed warehouses where protocols have been signed. Licensed warehousing companies that have signed a protocol with the office are published on the internet address of www.tmo.gov.tr and our producers will be able to sell their products delivered to these warehouses to TMO as Electronic Product Bill (ELUS).”

In the statement, it was mentioned that TMO will continue the appointment system that it has implemented in order to prevent manufacturers from waiting in front of their workplaces for a long time, and it has been reported that appointments can be taken from tomorrow, 23 August at 10:00, and purchases will start from 24 August at TMO workplaces and from 28 August at licensed warehouses.

In the statement, it was stated that purchases will be made in office workplaces 6 days a week, except for Sundays, and it was noted that the product price payments will be transferred to the bank accounts of the manufacturers within 30 days after the product delivery (TMO and ELUS).
