Turksat aims to increase its market share in the African continent

Turksat will participate in the AfricaCom 2023 fair, the technology, telecommunications and satellite event of the African continent.

According to the statement made by the company, technology, telecommunications and satellite event AfricaCom will host its visitors at the CapeTown International Convention Center between 14-16 November.

Turksat plans to increase its effectiveness in the continent, especially with Turksat 5B, which serves the African continent, and for Turkiye to take a strong place in the satellite services market in the African continent. In addition to its 5th generation satellite Turksat 5B, the company will also debut its national PeycON family antennas HidrON, TerrON, MicrON and AerON in the African market.

Within the scope of the fair program, Turksat will hold high-level meetings on satellite communications, broadcasting and satellite equipment, and digital media.

While the company plans to make new business agreements with broadcasters and data service providers in the countries in the region, it also aims to increase Turkiye’s export share to the African continent with the agreements to be made during the fair.
