Istanbul-Ankara has facilitated transportation: The number of services is increasing in YHTs

The number of high-speed trains (YHT) operated by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, TCDD Transportation Inc., will be increased from 36 to 40 as of tomorrow. YHTs will operate 16 daily trips on the Ankara-Istanbul line, 10 on the Ankara-Konya line, 8 on the Konya-Eskisehir line, and 6 daily on the Ankara-Eskisehir line.

According to the information received by the AA correspondent from the company, the number of YHT services on the Konya-Istanbul and Ankara-Istanbul lines has been increased mutually in line with passenger demands. The number of YHTs, which perform a total of 36 daily trips on Ankara-Istanbul, Ankara-Eskisehir-Ankara-Konya, Konya-Istanbul lines, will increase to 40 as of August 16.

The YHTs put on the expedition will depart from Ankara at 11.10, from Istanbul/Sogutlucesme at 17.25, from Konya at 10.00, and from Istanbul/Sogutlucesme at 16.50.

With the new arrangement, YHTs will operate 40 daily trips, 16 on the Ankara-Istanbul line, 10 on the Ankara-Konya line, 8 on the Konya-Eskisehir line, and 6 on the Ankara-Eskisehir line.

FIRST TIMES SERVICE AS “EXPRESS YHT”

YHTs continue to make their first services on the Ankara-Istanbul line as “Express YHT”.

On the Istanbul-Konya-Alanya line, combined transportation is provided with YHT plus bus connection.

YHTs, which have carried 58 million passengers to date, also allow passengers to easily reach the city, thanks to the opportunity to pass to Marmaray in Istanbul and Baskentray in Ankara.
