Turkish defense industry broke an export record and reached $632 million

The defense and aerospace industry broke an export record in the first two months of the year, reaching $632 million 783 thousand.

Defense and aerospace exports increased by 12% in the first two months of the year compared to the previous year. Total exports amounted to $632 million 783 thousand.

Defense Industry President Haluk Gorgun, in his statement on the X account, stated that defense and aerospace exports are a priority for the sustainable growth of the sector.

Gorgun also noted the following in his post:

On the axis of world peace, the security needs of our friendly and brotherly countries and the interest of our user countries in our defense systems lay the foundations of the future of our industry.

Behind this growth trend in the international arena lies the unconditional support of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his belief in our country’s children. We will continue to work tirelessly day and night with a tightly-knit defense industry, from our main integrator companies to our subcontractors.
