Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu thanked Saudi Arabia for the visa convenience it provides to Turkish citizens and said, “This will provide serious convenience for both Umrah, Hajj and other travels.”

Uraloglu met with Saudi Arabian Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tevfik er-Rabia and his accompanying delegation at the Ministry.

Stating that the relationship between the two countries should be carried forward at the meeting, Uraloglu said, “I would like to thank you for the ease of visa processing. This will provide serious convenience for both Umrah, Hajj and other travels.”

Tevfik er-Rabia also stated that Turkiye has been included in the electronic visa application and said, “With the electronic visa application, Turkish citizens will be able to obtain a visa in less than 5 minutes or when they go to any airport in Saudi Arabia. This visa will be valid for one year and can accommodate 90 days. With an electronic visa, Turkish citizens will be able to visit all regions and cities, as well as Mecca and Medina.”

Saying that Saudi Airlines has increased its seat capacity, al-Rabia stated that flights from Ankara to Medina and Jeddah will increase.

The Guest Minister said that both the electronic visa and the increase in the number of flights will improve the relations between the two countries and will have a positive impact on tourism and other fields.
