Trade Minister: Trade registry certificates can be obtained through MERSIS

Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said, “Trade registry certificates can now be obtained electronically through MERSIS throughout Turkey.”

Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said, “Trade registry certificates can now be obtained electronically through the Central Registration System (MERSIS) throughout Turkey.”

In her message shared on Pekcan’s Twitter account, she stated that they continue to expand the scope of commercial transactions carried out through MERSIS, and that the electronic document application over MERSIS, which they started in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was put into use in all 238 trade registry directorates as of April 5, 2021.

Emphasizing that trade registry certificates such as trade registry certification, bankruptcy and concordat certificate, center transfer certificate, certificate of conditions, which can be obtained by physical application to the trade registry directorates, can now be obtained electronically in all of Turkey via MERSIS, Pekcan said, “I wish this practice, which will contribute to digitalization in trade, to make commercial transactions easier, more transparent, fast and secure, and to increase the performance and service efficiency of our trade registry offices.”
