BIST 100 loses around 100 points from previous close
Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the day at 100,966.27 points on Wednesday, down slightly 0.10% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 100,416.41 points. As of the daily close, it dropped 96.24 points from Tuesday’s close of 101,062.51 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,665 by market close, up from $1,658 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $35.95 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
