The Turkish Aerospace Industry Bridge Junction and connection roads at the Akinci location of the Anatolian Motorway in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara will be put into service.
According to the information received by the AA correspondent from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the regulations that Ankara needs in urban and transit transportation, which is located on the developed road networks connecting Europe to the Middle East, are implemented one by one. While providing uninterrupted traffic flow at the joining points of the city’s main routes, easy access to industrial, commercial and administrative centers is established, increasing the transportation standard of the capital.
In this context, the Turkish Aerospace Industry Bridge Junction and connection roads were built at the Akinci location of the Anatolian Motorway in Kahramankazan. The bridge intersection project includes 2×3 lanes, 1-kilometer road with bituminous hot mixture coating, 1 canal bridge of 85 meters length, 1 underpass bridge of 41 meters and 2 culverts and 4 culvert extensions.
Kahramankazan district, which is located on the state road that provides transportation between Ankara and Istanbul, and the Anatolian Highway route, is growing day by day with the industrialization breakthrough in recent years.
Turkish Aviation and Space Industry Inc. is the technology center of Turkey in the development, modernization, production, system integration and life cycle support processes of aviation and space industry systems.
With the bridge interchange built, Turkish Aerospace Industry and Ankara Aviation and Space Aviation Specialized Organized Industrial Zone joined the Anatolian Highway directly. The opening of the road in question is planned by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoglu.
Within the scope of the tender, the General Directorate of Security Special Operations Bridge Interchange was completed and put into service in 2017.
