Ankara-based startup solarVis, which offers digitalization solutions for the solar energy industry, closed its first investment round with a valuation of $3.3 million.

solarVis, which was founded by Samet Yildirim and Enes Berk Karahancer in 2019 and has continued its activities as a bootstrap startup since then, closed its first sanction with a valuation of $ 3.3 million.

Enis Fakioglu and Ahmet Birim Cezayirlioglu, important names in the solar energy industry, participated in the investment tour.

solarVis aims to facilitate the sale of solar energy systems and save customers from operational burden and costs with the pre-feasibility, project design and bidding modules it offers. solarVis’ customer portfolio includes solar panel installation companies, as well as manufacturers, banks and insurance companies.

Enis Fakioglu, founder of Enisolar, the largest participant of the investment tour, said in his statement;

“We have been operating in the sector since 2006. We have been following solarVis closely since the first days of its establishment; We wholeheartedly believe in the potential of the unique products and services they offer. We believe that it will progress faster in the global market with what we bring to the table.”

Investor Ahmet Birim Cezayirlioglu said in his statement;

“With the foresight gained from working with corporate companies for many years, we were very excited about the potential of solarVis in the coming period and the team spirit created by the founding team. For these reasons, we wanted to participate in the investment tour and take our place early in the company’s growth journey.”

Founding Partner and CEO Samet Yildirim stated that they have come a long way and grown their team in the last few months;

“We are now moving towards becoming a scale-up rather than a startup. With the investment we received, we will accelerate our growth abroad, especially in developed markets such as the USA. In addition, we will start to offer our insurance and lending products in the domestic and international markets, which I think will pave the way for the industry.”

Founding Partner and CTO Enes Berk Karahancer;

“We already have a strong software architecture. To develop this, we intensively use the advantage of the technology talent pool in Ankara. We aim to release new modules on the product side in the near future. We believe that we can further expand our customer portfolio with these additions.”
