The increase in motorbike sales continues. Turkiye was the country where the most motorbikes were sold in Europe. The number of motorcycles registered in the first half of the year increased by more than 132 per cent compared to the same period last year.
According to the data of the Motorcycle Industry Association,the number of motorcycles registered to traffic in January-June 2023 period reached 426 thousand 308 units.
With this figure, Turkey ranked first in the report evaluating the performance of 40 countries in Europe.
With the effect of high sales performance in Turkiye in the first half of the year, motorcycle sales in Europe reached 1.3 million units with an increase of 8.9 per cent on an annual basis.
