Baykar, which has become a world brand in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technologies, and Aselsan, the national power of the defense industry, shook hands at SAHA EXPO 2021. While deliveries continue for the CATS Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting System, which frees unmanned aerial vehicles from dependence on imported products, both sides signed a new contract.
A contract was signed between ASELSAN and Baykar for CATS to be used in Baykar produced national unmanned aerial vehicles to be delivered to domestic users.
NATIONAL UAVS WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE KEEN EYE
Starting from basic sciences and concepts and applying high engineering skills with utmost care, CATS will continue to be the keen eye of national UAVs with the signatures signed at SAHA EXPO 2021 on 12 November.
CATS was developed to meet the electro-optical reconnaissance, surveillance and targeting system needs of air platforms, especially UAVs, with national resources. Mass production of CATS continues by ASELSAN and is actively used in operational regions.
