The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye will announce the 2nd Inflation Report of the year in Ankara on Thursday, May 9.
According to the announcement made by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT), Governor Fatih Karahan will hold an information meeting at the CBRT Administration Center on May 9 at 10.30 for the purpose of introducing the Inflation Report 2024-II.
The meeting to be held in person will be broadcast live on the Central Bank of Turkiye’s website at the following address: https://www.tcmb.gov.tr/wps/wcm/connect/tr/tcmb+tr/main+menu/duyurular/canli+yayin and also on the bank’s social media platforms including X and YouTube accounts.
At the 1st Inflation Report meeting of the year, the CBRT kept its 2024 year-end inflation forecast as 36%, 2025 year-end forecast as 14% and 2026 year-end forecast as 9%, as in the previous report.
