Germany’s DAX 30 performs worst, losing 1.12%
European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was down 2.95 points, or 0.67%, to finish at 435.98.
Germany’s DAX 30 was the worst performer of the day, losing 152 points, or 1.12%, to close at 13,534.
France’s CAC 40 declined 34 points, or 0.53%,to end at 6,490. Italy’s FTSE MIB lost 239 points, or 1.05%, to 22,488.
The UK’s FTSE 100, on the other hand, rose 5.78 points, or 0.08%, to finish at 7,488.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day, rising 39 points, or 0.48%, to 8,311.
