BiTaksi, the travel application serving in Istanbul and Ankara, made its infrastructure compatible with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and made the application available in AppGallery.
According to Huawei statement, the arrival of the taxi, the name, picture, score, the license plate of the taxi can be monitored on the map in the application. Passengers can reach wherever they want without the need to make directions by choosing a destination and can instantly share taxi rides with their relatives with the ‘Share My Journey’ feature. In addition to cash payments, BiTaksi users can register their cards only once for the application and pay online for all their journeys. BiTaksi also has options for visual or hearing-impaired passengers and users with pets.
After BiTaksi is presented to Huawei users in the App Gallery, users will be able to earn a special discount code for BiTaksi. 10 thousand discount codes worth ₺30 will take their place in the ‘Gift Wheel’ on the App Gallery as of November 2.
AppGallery applies a high level of authentication to protect users’ sensitive data and privacy. Personal or sensitive information such as biometric data is not processed outside of the Huawei device, and the user is given full control over their personal data. EMUI gives users control over the apps’ permissions. In addition, all user data is anonymized and stored locally on servers corresponding to each user’s region.
Huawei continues to create a customized experience for all users by rapidly adding country-specific local applications to the official application store. Huawei is working to accelerate the HMS inclusion of best practices that underpin the digital lifestyle of its users, including both popular global apps and quality localized apps.
