Energy Sector will meet at the Turkey Energy Summit

In this period when the energy crisis is experienced all over the world and prices are increasing, the energy sector will meet at the Turkey Energy Summit to determine its future strategies. The summit, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, started in Antalya. The summit, where the most important agenda items of the energy sector will be discussed, will also take place this year together with the ISTRADE Energy Trade and Supply Summit.

TURKEY IS IN A GOOD SPOT

Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, said, “The latest developments in Turkey and the global energy markets, the issues in the Mediterranean and the Middle East and affecting the energy markets will be on the agenda.” He also underlined that while the world’s energy markets are going through a bottleneck, Turkey is at a good point in terms of supply and supply compared to the countries in the region.

FIRST MEETING AFTER THE PANDEMIC

The summit, which has brought together all the stakeholders of the energy sector for 11 years, is also important as the first meeting held after the pandemic this year. In addition to the energy markets, the future of the summit will be discussed, and there will be topics such as natural gas exploration and production investments that interest the public, the future of electric vehicles, digitalization and distribution in electricity production, and a consumer forum.
