Electricity generating garage, a smart garage to protect your car & produce green energy in Turkey

A company operating in the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone has developed a smart garage system that can meet the electricity needs of a house as well as protect vehicles from rain and hail in winter and sunlight in summer.

A company in Antalya started the export of a garage system that can produce electricity with the solar panels it has developed.

Operating in the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone, CW Energy Engineering Trade and Industry Inc., as a result of its R&D studies developed a smart garage system that can protect the vehicles from rain and hail in winter and from the intensity of the sun in summer as well as meeting the electricity needs of a house.

The firm operating in 5 locations in Turkey has also succeeded in transforming the interest of the system from abroad into an export opportunity.

“It meets the electricity needs of a house of 2 to 3 people”

Tarik Sarvan, the Chairman of the board of the company, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that the cars get very hot in Antalya due to the intensity of the sun during the summer season and that the vehicles are damaged due to the rains that are effective in the winter period.

Sarvan explained that they designed a garage system to both protect vehicles and provide electricity generation, “We set up a house-type system with 6 panels, we can provide 1.8 kilowatts of energy. Installed power of 1.8 kilowatts corresponds to the electricity need of a house of 2-3 people. If you have such a garage, you do not have to pay an electricity bill.”

Pointing out that the system is not very expensive, Sarvan stated that the solar energy part costs approximately ₺15 thousand, and the remaining part costs around ₺8 thousand.

Stating that the consumer can get back what he has spent in a short time thanks to the smart garage, Sarvan said, “If we compare the cost of the system with the electricity you consume, you can get back the money you invested in five years.”

Indicating that they use leakproof tile-like panels suitable for the roof in the system, Sarvan said that there is no need to use a different tile or material other than the panel.

“First export is to Tunisia and Germany”

Emphasizing that they started mass production of the system, they were able to install the system not only in the gardens of houses and villas but also in the garages of the factories. He said, “From where we operated in Turkey we received an important satisfaction. We continue to receive orders domestically.”

Mentioning that they have exported solar panels to 40 countries as a company, Sarvan noted that the smart garage system has started to attract attention abroad.

Sarvan, stating that they started the export of the system, said “We received our first order from Tunisia and Germany and our second order from France, we started the construction. We expect an order from Morocco. Although it is new, there is serious interest. As recognition increases, the export will increase.”
