It was announced that Russia has imported 1.5 million eggs from Turkiye since the beginning of the year.
In the statement made by the Russian Food Safety Authority, it was stated that 316 thousand 800 more eggs weighing 19 tons were imported from Turkiye today.
In the statement, it was noted that the amount of eggs imported from Turkiye since the beginning of the year has reached 1.5 million.
The Russian government allowed duty-free import of 1.2 billion eggs into Russia from January 1 to June 1 due to rapidly increasing egg prices in the country.
