Yesterday, 627 thousand 758 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis in Turkiye. Hydroelectric power plants with dams took the first place in production with 21.1%.
According to the data of Turkiye Electricity Transmission Inc, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis was at 22.00 with 30,882 megawatt-hours, and the lowest consumption was at 07.00 with 22 thousand 324 megawatt-hours.
On a daily basis, 627 thousand 758 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced yesterday, and consumption was recorded as 627 thousand 534 megawatt-hours.
Hydroelectric power plants with dams took the first place in production with 21.1%. This was followed by imported coal power plants with 18.4% and lignite power plants with 13%.
Turkiye made 5,747 megawatt-hours of electricity exports and 5,522 megawatts of electricity imports yesterday.
