Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek will not attend the meetings to be held by the Central Bank in New York on January 11 due to his schedule in Ankara and will attend online.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) will organize the first of its Investor Days in New York on Thursday, January 11. The economic management will meet with investors and make presentations on topics such as inflation, monetary policy, financial markets and banking.
The meeting will start with the presentation of CBRT Governor Erkan titled “Monetary Policy and Inflation Outlook”.
Minister of Treasury and Finance Simsek will give a speech titled “Fiscal Policy and Treasury’s Financing Outlook”.
According to Bloomberg, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek will attend investor meetings in the USA online.
Minister Simsek will not go to the USA due to his programs in Ankara. Simsek, meetings on January 11 will be attended online.
More than 200 high-level representatives from the world’s largest investment funds, whose size reaches $50 trillion, are expected to attend the meeting.
