Cooperation agreement from the Turkish defense company Baykar with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense

Baykar signed a “Cooperation Agreement for Joint Research, Development and Production” with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

The cooperation agreement was signed by Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar and Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Defense Aqil Qurbanov. Azerbaijani Minister of Defense General Zakir Hasanov, Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selcuk Bayraktar and representatives from the parties to the contract were also present at the signing ceremony.

Haluk Bayraktar, in his post on the subject on X, stated that they took an important step that will shape the future with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Emphasizing that they came together for the security and progress of the two brother countries by signing the “Cooperation Agreement for Joint Research, Development and Production”, Bayraktar said:

“Beyond our technological innovations, this agreement is a reflection of the solid cooperation and mutual trust between us. Our brotherhood, which grows with the principle of ‘one nation, two states’, becomes even stronger with this sense of unity. I hope that the agreement will be beneficial and auspicious for our countries.”
