The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has decided to update the contactless transaction limit to ₺500, effective as of February 1, within the scope of epidemic measures in card payments. In the letter sent by the BRSA to the Banks Association of Turkey (TBB), the Participation Banks Association of Turkey (TKBB) and the Interbank Card Center (BKM), it was reminded that some measures were taken in the banking sector in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic in Turkey.
