Central Bank reserves amounted to $113.7 billion

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye increased to $113 billion 738 million in the week of August 12.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics have been published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT).

Accordingly, as of August 12, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by $4 billion 791 million to $72 billion 560 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $67 billion 769 million on 5 August.

In the said period, gold reserves increased by $309 million from $40 billion 868 million to $41 billion 177 million.

Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves increased by $5 billion 101 million in the week of August 12 compared to the previous week, from $108 billion 637 million to $113 billion 738 million.
