Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TURSAB) Cappadocia Regional Representative Board Chairman Talip Aldemir said that the Cappadocia region will be a favorite tourism center for domestic tourists, considering the reservation rates seen before the Eid al-Adha holiday.
At the accommodation facilities in Cappadocia, which attracts the attention of its guests with its historical, cultural and natural beauties, there is a reservation density only a few days before the Eid al-Adha.
The region attracts the attention of local and foreign tourists with activities organized with horses, ATV motors, camels and off-road vehicles, especially the hot air balloon tour.
Aldemir stated that they are trying to respond to the reservation requests of local guests who want to visit the valleys covered with fairy chimneys, underground cities and tourism centers where the historical texture is preserved.
Stating that Cappadocia is rich in touristic areas and activities, Aldemir said:
“The year 2022 is a fruitful year in terms of tourism. Cappadocia is one of its favorite destinations as usual. There is also a density during the Eid al-Adha. Since the holiday coincides with summer, beach tourism is at the forefront, but the occupancy rate in our region has reached 70-80% at the moment. There is still room in the region for those who want to come. Our region will again be one of the favorite destinations in 2022 Eid-al-Adha. This is not just a place for balloon tourism, ATV and vehicle tours. It is a tourism area with a wide range of valley walks and cultural tours. We think that those who come here will find everything they are looking for.”
“THE PEOPLE WHO LEAVE THE RESERVATION TO THE LAST DAY MAY NOT FIND A PLACE”
Murat Dinc, the manager of a hotel in Uchisar, also stated that it is necessary to be sensitive about the reservation.
Noting that the density of the accommodation facility they operate is also observed, Dinc said, “There is an increase in reservations when compared to last week and this week. Those who want to come to the region will not have any problems finding a place if they do not wait for the last days and book early. Every year, those who want to wait until the last day and make instant reservations cannot find a place and they cannot make a trip to Cappadocia even though they want it very much.”
Dinc added that they received high demand from expatriate citizens, especially those who want to spend their holidays in the region.
Mustafa Durmaz, Head of Goreme Tourism Development Cooperative, said that Cappadocia, which is preferred by foreign tourists from various countries during the summer period, will experience activity during the holiday holiday with the interest of local tourists.
