The final turn has been entered in order to benefit from the rights provided by Law No. 7440, also known as restructuring.
According to the compilation made by the AA correspondent, those who prefer the cash or installment payment option within the scope of restructuring, but do not pay the first and second installments or pay incompletely, will be able to benefit from the opportunity until 31 August. In this context, with the delay increase to be calculated for the elapsed time, those who pay their debts will be able to benefit from the restructuring law numbered 7440 without applying the coefficient, but will not be included in the advance payment discount.
Payments can be made via the “gib.gov.tr” website of the Revenue Administration, the Interactive Tax Office and the GIB Mobile application, the bank account with credit or debit cards of contracted banks, branches, mobile, telephone and internet banking. In addition, payments can be made to tax office cashiers and PTT branches.
Earthquake victims will not pay additional MTV
The payment period for the first installment of the additional motor vehicle tax (MTV) also expires on 31 August. Those who do not pay the additional MTV will not be able to close the registration due to withdrawal from traffic, scrapping and removal abroad.
Vehicles registered and registered as of the date of the earthquake in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaras, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa and Elazig, and in Gurun district of Sivas, which were declared force majeure due to the Kahramanmaras-centered earthquakes that occurred on 6 February, vehicles belonging to the owners of buildings that were destroyed or severely or moderately damaged due to earthquakes, vehicles that became unusable due to heavy damage due to earthquakes, and vehicles belonging to taxpayers who lost their spouse or one of their first-degree blood relatives due to the earthquake are exempted from the additional MTV.
On the other hand, the second installment of the valuable housing tax can be paid until 31 August.
